Terms and Conditions
Last Updated: 29 August 2025
Welcome to Alexandra Cansell, trading as The Pelvic Physio Farnham ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website www.thepelvicphysiofarnham.co.uk and our services. By accessing or using our website and services, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. For any questions, please contact us using the button below.
2. Professional Standards
Our physiotherapists are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP). All treatment is provided in line with professional and ethical standards.
3. Services Provided & Chaperones
We provide assessment, advice, and treatment relating to pelvic health physiotherapy. Information on this website is for general educational purposes only and should not replace personalised medical advice. Please consult your GP or relevant healthcare provider for urgent or complex health issues.
As a sole practitioner, I do not routinely have a chaperone present during appointments. If you would like a chaperone to be present for any part of your assessment or treatment, including an intimate examination, please let me know before your appointment wherever possible. I will make every reasonable effort to accommodate your request, however this may not always be possible and, in some circumstances, your appointment may need to be rearranged.
If I do not hear from you before your appointment, I will assume that you do not wish to request a chaperone in advance. However, you will still be offered the opportunity to discuss chaperones, consent and examination options at your appointment before any assessment or treatment takes place.
You are welcome to bring a family member, friend or supporter with you if you would prefer, although they would not be considered an independent clinical chaperone.
4. Cancellation, Re-scheduling and Refund Policy
-
Cancellations made 48 hours before the scheduled session will receive a full refund.
-
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session may not be eligible for a refund. Please re-schedule to your earliest convenience.
-
Re-scheduling is available for all appointments up to 24 hours before the start time. Please contact us as soon as possible to arrange this.
-
If we need to cancel or reschedule a service, we will provide an alternative date or offer a full refund.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees for our services are displayed on the website and may be updated from time to time. Payment is due at the time of booking or appointment, unless otherwise agreed. If you are claiming through insurance, it is your responsibility to confirm cover with your provider.
6. Liability
While we take every care to ensure safe and effective treatment, results cannot be guaranteed. We are not liable for any loss or damage (direct or indirect) arising from use of our website or services, except where required by UK law.
