About our Physio
Explore my story as a physiotherapist and how our service empowers better pelvic health.
A little bit about me
Hi, I’m Ali – a physiotherapist with over 18 years of experience, specialising exclusively in pelvic floor and pelvic health care. I’m a mum of two energetic children, so I understand both the clinical complexities and the everyday impact pelvic health issues can have.
I hold a BSc Physiotherapy degree from the University of Brighton (2007), an MSc module in Advanced Clinical Practice in Pelvic Health from Brunel University (2025), and have completed numerous specialist postgraduate courses, keeping my practice fully up to date with the latest evidence. I regularly mentor other physiotherapists and deliver workshops and talks for companies, gyms, and community groups, sharing practical expertise in pelvic health. I also bring extensive NHS experience, working closely with consultants, GPs and midwives to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
Based in Farnham, Surrey, I provide expert pelvic health care through two welcoming clinics, with a limited number of home visits available. I treat bladder and bowel leakage, urgency, frequency and constipation, prolapse symptoms, overactive bladder, pelvic pain, pregnancy-related concerns including pelvic girdle pain and birth preparation, and postnatal pelvic floor and abdominal issues—including Mummy MOTs and safe return to activity.

Working in the NHS
I have extensive experience working in the NHS, and I left my role as a specialist pelvic health physiotherapist only very recently to further my own ventures and spend more time with my young children. In this role I enjoyed working closely with the hospital consultants and midwives, treating conditions such as pelvic girdle pain, incontinence (bladder and bowel), pelvic organ prolapse, obstetric birth injuries/tears (OASI) and diastasis recti. This has instilled invaluable expertise in the field of pelvic health.
Mummy MOT Practitioner
I am a certified Mummy MOT practitioner and provide postnatal checks in the comfort of my patient’s own homes, and have a passion for providing education and a safe space for patients to be able to discuss their symptoms and feel listened to. I endeavour to support patients to rehab back to any level – whether that is a stroll in the park with the kids or an Ironman triathlon!
Certifications
I am registered with the Health Professions Council (HCPC), Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Pelvic Obstetric and Gynae Physiotherapy (POGP) and a registered Mummy MOT practitioner.
