Package FAQ's
How many sessions do I get if I book a package?
All Packages give you 1 initial assessment appointment (up to 90 mins) and 2 x follow up sessions (45 mins).
Do I have to book the sessions at the same time?
No, you dont need to book them all at the same time. Each appointment can be booked individually. However, sometimes, having the follow ups spaced appropriately after the initial assessment can help with progress. We can help advise on this after the initial assessment.
I have specific questions around the Pregnancy/ Mummy MOT/ Pelvic health assessment.
Please see the individual pages and FAQ sections there. If something is not clear then please do submit a contact form.
Will I be expected to remove my clothes?
The Mummy MOT and pelvic health assessments include an internal pelvic floor exam. We will fully explain the procedure to you and if you are happy to proceed, you will be asked to give verbal informed consent. You will need to remove clothing from the waist down for this part of the assessment but will be covered with a towel. For the Pregnancy assessment we will discuss what is most suitable for you at the appointment. You can of course opt out of this part of the assessment or change your mind at any time.
Do I need to do anything prior to the session?
If you are having a Mummy MOT, after confirming your booking, you will be sent a pre-screen questionnaire. It is really helpful if you could complete this prior to your session so we can discuss it at the start, but please don’t stress! I understand how busy postpartum life can be. For pregnancy and pelvic health assessments, no pre screen is required.
